Who controls your data

Data we collect
We collect details you provide, including name, email, phone, delivery address, ordered items, consent records, support messages, and booking context. We also retain limited technical and transaction data such as order identifiers, payment status, device/browser information, security logs, and delivery evidence. Raw card data, UPI PINs, banking passwords, and OTPs are not stored by The Believe It Store.
Why we use it
- Validate, process, deliver, support, cancel, or refund an order.
- Provide a requested reading, workshop, service, or waitlist update.
- Prevent fraud, secure checkout, reconcile payments, and handle disputes.
- Meet accounting, tax, consumer-protection, payment, and legal obligations.
- Send marketing only where separate consent has been given.
Service providers and Razorpay consent
Data needed to complete your request may be shared with Razorpay and its payment or banking partners, Supabase for database and account hosting, Twilio for email, Twilio and WhatsApp for consented message delivery, website hosting providers, delivery providers, professional advisers, and authorities where legally required. At checkout, you expressly consent to sharing necessary personal and transaction data with Razorpay for payment processing, transaction tracking, fraud prevention, and legally required disclosures. Providers receive only data needed for their role.
Cookies and browser storage
Essential cookies may keep sessions secure and associate an anonymous cart with this browser. Browser storage also retains your cart. These are used to provide requested site functions, not to read unrelated files or credentials from your device. Optional advertising or analytics cookies must not be enabled without any consent required by law. You may clear cookies and site data in your browser, although cart or sign-in state may be lost.
Optional Meta advertising measurement
If you allow advertising cookies, Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API may receive limited website and purchase-event data so The Believe It Store can measure and improve advertisements. Browser tracking remains off unless you accept it, and you can reopen Advertising choices in the site footer to withdraw permission. Products whose names or context may disclose sensitive interests are excluded from this integration. Meta access tokens remain server-only, and raw payment credentials are never shared.
Storage and retention
Cart contents and an optionally supplied email address may be stored to provide a consented abandoned-cart reminder. Orders, accounts, addresses, invoices, payment references, delivery evidence, consent records, and dispute material are retained for at least the period required by payment partners and applicable law. Data no longer needed is deleted or anonymised, subject to fraud, dispute, tax, and legal-retention duties.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of optional consent by using account communication preferences, an unsubscribe link, or our contact channels. Email, WhatsApp, and SMS marketing choices are recorded separately. Some records must remain where required to complete an order, investigate fraud, resolve disputes, or comply with law. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect transactional messages.
Security and changes
We use access controls, encrypted transport, restricted server credentials, signed payment verification, and audit records. No internet system is risk-free. Material changes will be reflected by a new policy version and publication date.
